Soma : of the body
Practice : repeated effort
An embodied practice dedicated to the effort of coming closer to oneself and building resilience.
I serve anyone who is interested in being supported in developing a relationship with their inner felt sense. This work adapts to the needs of the person in front of me. There is no neutral or natural body. There is only the body you are inside of, shaped by your lived experience.
I welcome bodies and identities of all kinds—queer, trans, aging, shifting, unfolding. I work from a place of radical acceptance and care, meeting you in the stage of life and self-relationship you are in. My practice holds a pointed environment for curiosity, self-exploration, and an orientation to the tending that is most needed.

How to prepare
What to Wear
Wear soft, loose fabrics. Avoid jeans, leggings, or anything that holds, compresses, or restricts movement.
What to Have Nearby (Online)
Prepare a private space where you can move. Have a mat, pillow, blanket, and journal. If available, gather a tennis or lacrosse ball, a 5–10 lb weight, and any yoga tools or props you may already own.
Before and After the Session
Make space before and after each session. Beforehand, take a moment to ask yourself what you are interested in working on. Afterwards, allow time to go for a walk or take rest. The work will continue to integrate in your system throughout the day and into the week.
About me
I build internal infrastructures of belonging. No matter what the technology I am working inside of, my interest is to create pathways to being in deeper relationship with oneself. I work with clients and students to be in exploration of the inner self and in the active practice of revealing what is asking to be seen and cared for.
I believe we all can have access to our whole selves. This includes the parts that have been told they do not belong, or that do not feel safe enough to be seen and integrated into the whole system.
My work is to create the space and an environment for those parts to come forward, receive attention and tending. Through presence and practice we integrate parts of our self and then watch as they come forward in healthy ways in our lived experience.
We deserve to be free.
Research & Training
I draw from a wide range of practices developed through a lifetime of movement research, personal exploration, and academic study. I received my MFA in Dance and Performance from Smith College in 2019.
My approach includes anatomical and theoretical study as well as practices that support release and unblocking. I work with methods such as Somatic Stress Release, Focusing, Mind Body Centering, Contact Improvisation, Improvisation, Authentic Movement, and Contemplative Dance Practices.
Each session is unique and shaped by this somatic knowledge base to meet your individual needs.
