About the process….
This offering is for clients who are ready to build a full website. You have a realistic sense of the time, effort, and budget involved, and you’re prepared to gather the core materials—copy, images, and anything else needed to represent yourself online.
I’ll take care of the structure, organization, copy editing, photo selection, and overall design of the site. This is a focused, collaborative process with daily communication and multiple meetings over the course of one to two weeks, depending on the scope.
I work with clients who are committed and ready to invest in themselves and their business to create a beautiful, simple website that clearly reflects who they are and what they offer.
How it works
Pre-Design Phase:
Process Proposal
Consultation Call:
30 Minutes
Contract Signature and Deposit
$500 non-refundable deposit to determine and hold dates due with contract signature.
Client Responsibilities:
Create a Pinterest inspiration board (optional).
Complete the application intake form.
Designer Responsibilities:
Draft and send the contract followed by Deposit Invoice.
Provide guidance on content preparation.
First Round:
Design and Development
In this preparation time the client will be guided on providing proper text, images and assets, a color theme will be decided and a basic outline of the website will be built for your approval.
Collaborative Work:
Visioning Session:
Optional session to refine project goals.
Check-In Meeting:
Ensure alignment before development begins.
Client Responsibilities:
Materials Due: (Text, Images, Pages, Basic Color Palette
Purchase Squarespace Subscription and Domain
Designer Responsibilities:
Select font styles and compile a style guide.
Build a fully responsive desktop and mobile website.
Add content, style pages, embed links, and integrate code.
Add functionality as needed (e.g., contact forms, e-commerce).
Second Round:
Final Edits and Refinements
In this second round of edits, the full materials will be integrated into the site as the pages are developed.
Daily notes and questions will be provided and client will be expected to be responsive in communicating edits and preferred edits.
Client Responsibilities:
Review the initial design and request edits (as needed).
Designer Responsibilities:
Implement client edits (repeat as necessary).
Design collateral items, if applicable (e.g., logos, banners).
Test website functionality.
Finalize design with finishing style touches.
Launch Website!
